Although results were slightly lower in 2014 than the previous record holding year, they were still impressive. In turnover and profit the year ended as second best in the 18-year VZM history.
The customer base expanded with another 10% and the number of countries VZM has been active expanded as well. In 2014 the majority of the activities took place in Belgium, Finland, France, and the Netherlands. More than half of the turnover was generated with interim-management support.
For the first time the winner of the VZM Dutch Aviation Open Golf Tournament was able to defend his title, Leo van Rijn of KLM. The participants clearly enjoyed this 16th edition with nice temperatures and no rain during the match.
In September VZM organized a Diversium for one of its customers about the topic Is there still a future for legacy aircraft component maintenance? Once again the participants gave a positive feed-back on this successful event.
